MEET THE KING

Restoring the Booth of David

A LIFE CALLED TO REIGN AND TO RESTORE

“I have made a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant: ‘Your offspring I will establish forever, and build your throne for all generations.’” — Psalm 89:3–4 (ESV)

The House and Kingdom of David is not an organization created by men. It is a covenant kingdom directly established by God, promised an everlasting throne and an unbroken royal line.

Within that covenant, the person of the King is essential: the Kingdom receives its earthly authority, justice, and order through the one whom God sets upon David’s throne.

“His Majesty King David Joel”

Shepherd, Sovereign, and Steward of the Davidic Throne

His Majesty King David Joel, of the House of Weems/Wemyss, stands in the restored line of David as Crown Sovereign of the House and Kingdom of David. By covenant, lineage, and prophetic confirmation, he bears the authoritative kingship role through which this ancient Kingdom continues in our generation.

Called in these last days to re-institute and continue the House and Kingdom of David, His Majesty holds together three inseparable callings:

  • Shepherd – caring for people, families, and nations as a pastor-king;
  • Sovereign – exercising royal authority in law, judgment, and governance;
  • Steward – guarding the covenants, courts, and patrimony entrusted to the House of David.
  • His authority is not self-appointed, nor conferred by younger governments or boards. It rests upon:
  • God’s covenant with David (2 Samuel 7; Psalm 72; Psalm 89);
  • The preserved royal lineage through Judah, the mission of Jeremiah, and the twin lines of Perez
    and Zarah;
  • The prophetic promises that David’s throne would be raised up and “built as in the days of old” (Amos 9:11; Jeremiah 33:17; Ezekiel 37:24–28).
  • The King’s Mandate
    • “In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen
      and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins
      and rebuild it as in the days of old.”
      — Amos 9:11 (ESV)
  • His Majesty understands his kingship as a mandate, not a privilege:
    • To restore the Booth of David – repairing breaches in covenant, worship, and governance;
      To re-establish righteous courts – where justice and mercy meet, and where both citizens and
      nations can appeal;
      To exercise royal authority in humility – always as a servant under the Kingship of the
      LORD;
      To gather and shepherd those whom God is calling into alignment with the House and
      Kingdom of David.

  • Three Pillars of His Reign
    • Justice – Lawful process, righteous judgment, and the defense of the oppressed.
    • Mercy – Compassion, forgiveness, and pastoral care for the broken and the seeking.
    • Truth – Faithful obedience to covenant, Scripture, and the witness of the Holy Spirit.
  • A Servant King
    Though vested with full royal authority, His Majesty King David Joel understands himself first as
    a servant of the Lord and of the people entrusted to his care. He receives the throne not to be served
    but to serve—to stand in the breach, to render just judgment, and to keep the covenant alive “to all
    generations.”
